Monday, MAY 20, 2024  (Green Thumb Gardening social post) Congratulations are in order! 🌿   We are thrilled to announce that our incredible Detroit Career Center trainees have qualified for Digitability ’s 2024 Work Simulation Competition! This nationwide competition highlights the innovative ways classrooms across the country are transforming education.   Our team is being nominated for their tireless efforts bringing Goodwill’s Green Thumb Gardening project to life. In addition to building and nurturing the garden, participants have taken on various roles in promoting it, from writing and editing blog posts to capturing and sharing stunning photographs of our gardening efforts on social media.   Now, we need your help to win! Please vote for our Green Thumb Gardening project and support our mission to promote independence and self-advocacy for individuals with diverse special needs.   Voting ends Monday, June 10, so don’t miss your chance to make a difference...
